The British Institute
Bumi Serpong Damai, TANGERANG
compact flow of activity
The British Institute, a wellknown International English Course is well fit designed and built in 3 side by side shophouses in BSD City. The main challenge is to organize maximum classrooms without creating sense of space deficiency.
The first floor exclusively used for public function and teachers den, students are welcomed by large lobby in conjuctioned with small library, computer class, and mini cafeteria. The 2nd and 3rd floor made typical for classes with hall and sitting area instead of long corridors for compact flow of activity and nurture more public gathering for active communication
Under a very tight schedule and constrained budget the building manage to standout among others. Contrasting solid upper level to open concept on the lobby groundfloor give more transparent and borderless feel through the building.
